Update: Missing from Anne Arundel County, Teresa Lynn Carpenter
(Updated 2/23/2025) As of 9:17 am on Saturday morning, 2/23/2025, the Anne Arundel County Police Department (AACOPD) was still experiencing technical and communications difficulties due to a cybersecurity issue impacting their offices. When Ace News Today contacted them this morning to check on the status of Teresa Lynn Carpenter’s missing person’s report, they could not share any updates due to those technical problems, but said they’d be looking into it.
The County, in collaboration with the Anne Arundel County Office of Information Technology, public safety officials, and cybersecurity experts, is actively investigating an ongoing cyber incident of external origin affecting certain county services. At this time, the full scope of the impact is still being determined. ~ AACOPD

Around 5:30 pm today (February 22,) the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced that they were asking for assistance in locating 52-year-old Teresa Lynn Carpenter who was reported missing on 02/22/25 and was last seen at approximately 10:00 pm on 02/21/25.
Ms. Carpenter was last seen wearing dark clothing and is believed to be driving a White Lexus SUV with Maryland tag 7GG3084. If you have seen Ms. Carpenter or know of her whereabouts please contact the police.
