On February 17, Florida’s Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) Missing Persons Unit sought the public’s assistance in helping to locate a 45-year-old at risk woman. According to BSO detectives, Rima Gibson was last seen around 2 a.m. on Sunday, February 4, at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Officials described Rima as being about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighing about 115 pounds.

She has brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing multicolor hooded sweatshirt and beige sweatpants. Rima has a tattoo on her right forearm.

According to her family, Gibson has an intellectual disability and medical conditions requiring medication.

Anyone with information on Gibson’s whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
