MMA fighter Isaiah Chapman shot dead outside his Akron home
Bellator MMA fighter, Isaiah “The Beast” Chapman, 30, has died after being shot outside his home in Akron, Ohio. According to the police, officers were called to Chapman’s home in the 300 block of Reed Avenue at 9:40 p.m. on April 7. Upon arriving at the scene, police found Chapman “in the street with gunshot wounds.”
The beloved fighter and family man was transported to the Summa Akron City Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A statement from Bellator read: “Bellator is saddened by the news of Isaiah Chapman’s passing. Our deepest and most sincere condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”
Fellow Bellator fighter Joseph Martin has setup a gofundme page for Chapman’s family, leaving a heartfelt message on the funding page. ~ per MSN
