Model Rebecca Landrith shot dead, her body found on Pennsylvania Interstate
Yesterday, Newsweek reported the Pennsylvania State Police as saying that they found the deceased body of 46-year-old former model Rebecca Landrith as she laid on a ramp of Interstate 80 eastbound in Union County, her body riddled with gunshot wounds. A Pennsylvania Department for Transport employee in the area spotted her remains, “near the guardrail on the shoulder of the mile marker 199 off-ramp,” and is credited with contacting law enforcement. Landrith had been shot multiple times in the head, neck and chest.
Pennsylvania State Police in conjunction with the coroner’s office, ruled Landrith’s death a homicide.
In a statement, state police said Landrith lived at an address in Virginia and had ties to several states, including South Dakota and Utah. They added that she was wearing blue maternity jeans, a purple shirt and a black leather jacket when she was found.

A truck driver identified as Tracy Rollins has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the model. In a brutal and horrendous account of her murder, The Sun reported that Landrith had been shot at least 18 times and that Rollins abused her corpse and scrawled his name on a note that he left behind with her deceased remains.
Investigators found that note in the pocket of Landrith’s jeans. The note contained Rollins’ name, phone number and e-mail address, according to a statement by police shared by The New York Post.
Police caught up with Rollins 250 miles away from the scene in Connecticut. He was arrested and charged with criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse.
Cops found blood and shell casings in the 28-year-old’s truck after he reportedly tried to clean his vehicle with bleach.
