Mother and son mysteriously disappear from their Florida home

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), headquartered in Ocala, Florida, have issued a plea to their citizens to please come forward with any information regarding a mother and her son who have both gone missing. On December 17, 44-year-old Ericka Lashawn Brooks and her son, 20-year-old Kamarcus Brooks, were last seen sleeping at their home in the 19700 block of SW 109th Place in Dunnellon, Florida.

Unfortunately, the pair was gone when family members came home, and no one has heard from them since.

Officials have described Ericka as being approximately 5’8” and around 180 pounds, and Kamarcus as being approximately 6’4” and 210 pounds. Due to the lapse in time since the pair has been seen or heard from, there is concern for their well-being.
