Officials seek help locating 12-year-old girl missing from Pompano Beach

A Broward County, Florida, girl did not return home from school on Thursday and the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating the 12-year-old missing from Pompano Beach.

Emma Bleidt was last seen at approximately 2 p.m., Thursday, October 20, at Cypress Run Alternative School located at 2800 N.W. 30th Avenue in Pompano Beach. Emma is described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. She has reddish blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing khaki pants, a white sweater with the number “21” on it – and black, blue and white Nike shoes.

According to detectives, Bleidt is believed to be in the city of Lauderhill. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact BSO Detective Chris Blankenship at 954-321-4268 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).

Officials had previously reported Emma missing back on October 4.  At that time, she was reported missing from Tamarac. Also on October 4, Emma was located safe and unharmed in Fort Lauderdale later that same evening and was reunited with her family.
