Orioles going with 1992 ticket and hot dog prices for two opening series
It seems like just yesterday that the now iconic Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore City opened their gates to the public – but it was in fact 30 years ago. And the O’s are not letting this auspicious occasion go by unheralded.
When Oriole Park at Camden Yards (OPACY) opened on April 6, 1992, a new era of Major League Baseball began. The park was brand new, but still old-fashioned. State-of-the-art, yet quaint. At less than a day old, it was already a classic. ~ MLB
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Oriole Park and as a way to say thank you to their fans, the Orioles will offer 1992 throwback pricing for the team’s first two home series against the Milwaukee Brewers (April 12-13) and the New York Yankees (April 15-17), with the exclusion of the Orioles home opener on April 11.
For all eligible games, while supplies last, tickets are available at $4 for bleachers, $8 for reserve seats, and $12, $13, and $18 for box seats. Savings at each seating location range from approximately 50 percent to 85 percent. The special pricing is reflective of the same ticket prices that existed when the ballpark opened on April 6, 1992.
Additionally, the Orioles will offer hot dogs at 1992 pricing ($1.75) at all Camden Franks concession locations for the first two home series, with the exclusion of the home opener. Transactions are limited to two hot dogs per person.
Beginning yesterday, fans started purchasing tickets at 1992 prices by entering the coupon code ‘1992’ prior to selecting their seats at Orioles.com/Tickets. Their offer is available online only, and with a limit of six tickets per game per buyer.
