Peeping Tom busted setting up surveillance camera in Circle K women’s restroom
Yesterday, Florida’s Ocala Police Department (OPD) announced that their Detective Barth arrested 28-year-old Justin Wright and charged him with multiple counts of voyeurism.
According to the police, on February 24, Wright hid a video camera in a flower pot inside a women’s restroom at the Circle K gas station in Ocala. Just a few days ago, the Ocala PD posted a video of the then still-unidentified Wright setting up his video camera in that restroom and asked their Facebook followers to help identify the man setting up his illegal and smarmy surveillance equipment.
You can see the video of Wright installing and testing his camera equipment in the Ladies bathroom on the Ocala Police Department’s Facebook page.
The input and tips provided by concerned citizens provided the means for authorities to put out a warrant for Wright’s arrest. On March 13, the police posted: Wright turned himself in to the Lake County jail. Thank you all who shared that post.
WCJB reported that following his arrest, Wright bonded after making $30,000 bail on six counts of felony video voyeurism.
