This year’s most inspirational teachers, who are making a difference both in and out of the classroom, are about to get some much-deserved recognition from the Phillies, Constellation and fans.
On Friday, May 6, the top 10 Phillies All-Star Teachers from 2022 will take the field to be honored before that night’s 7:05 p.m. game against the New York Mets as part of the 22nd annual Teacher Appreciation Night powered by Constellation, a leading competitive energy provider.
The teachers were selected from hundreds of nominations sent to the Phillies by their current and former students, parents and peers.
Several thousand teachers and their families have already pre-registered for the special night. For more information, please visit Phillies.com.
According to the MLB web page, to help honor all educators, the evening’s event is featuring a $4 discount off tickets. The first 3,000 fans that purchase tickets through this event will receive a voucher for an exclusive Teacher Appreciation Night powered by Constellation giveaway. And, the event is now sold out.
