Police in Florida seek public’s assistance in helping track down a killer
Police in Florida are seeking the public’s assistance in helping track down a killer. Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are asking the public to help investigators locate Terrance Bernard Warner Jr., 28, wanted for the December 8 murder of Clifton Afflick-Laidley in West Park. Investigators believe Warner may have fled to Albany, Georgia.
At 4:17 a.m., deputies responded to reports of gunfire near 5018 Pembroke Road. After arriving on the scene, deputies found one victim, Afflick-Laidley, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue transported the victim to Memorial Regional Hospital where he died.
Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives determined that the murder began as an argument between Jimard Fox, 27, and the victim.
BSO arrested Fox on December 10. He is now facing an accessory to murder charge. Warner remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information can contact BSO Det. Zack Scott at 954-321-4162. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org. Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000.
