Police need help identifying road rage woman who assaulted bicyclist

We’re not sure what caused this motorist to come down so violently hard on a bicyclist – but come down hard she did – and now local law enforcement would like to have a word with her.

Police in Baltimore City are seeking our assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in an aggravated assault that occurred during a road rage incident in the 2900 block of Waterview Avenue on February 26, 2025.

According to police, a visibly irate motorist reportedly swerved her vehicle in front of the victim multiple times as he rode on his bicycle. The woman then got out of her car and struck the victim in the head with the broom-like object seen in the photo.

As an aside, this writer can recall more than one instance of being annoyed when having to share the road with a bicycle rider – especially when getting stuck behind them and having to slow down to their speed – but share the road we must.  Remember that bikers don’t have the protection of a two-ton metal vehicle surrounding them and keeping them safe.  Keep a safe distance, and don’t let your temper get the better of you.
