(July 25, 2023 Update) Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located 38-year-old Jasmine Mayfield who was missing from Pompano Beach.

According to investigators, Mayfield was located safe and unharmed at a medical facility in Hialeah. Her family has been notified.

A missing persons alert was issued on Saturday, July 22, after Mayfield was last seen around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, near the 3200 block of Northwest Fourth Street in Pompano Beach. An updated news release was issued later that afternoon after her vehicle was located abandoned with her belongings inside.

On July 22, Florida’s Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help to locate a 38-year-old Pompano Beach woman who detectives say has gone missing under “suspicious circumstances.”

Jasmine Mayfield was last seen around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, near the 3200 block of Northwest Fourth Street in Pompano Beach. Mayfield is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs around 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She also has a tattoo on her wrist.

According to investigators, Florida Highway Patrol Troopers located Mayfield’s orange 2015 Dodge Dart with Florida tag GTLK51 abandoned on Friday, July 21, near State Road 826 and Northwest 122nd Avenue in Hialeah. Detectives say Mayfield’s personal items were found inside the vehicle, and that the car appears to have been at the location since Wednesday afternoon.
