Port St. Lucie teen, 15, with help from cohorts, kidnaps and violently robs victim she met on-line
An unsuspecting man expecting to meet up with a woman he met on-line, ended up becoming a victim in a violent kidnapping and robbery plot. Following his nightmarish ordeal, the victim told detectives with Florida’s Martin County Sheriff’s Office that after meeting a woman on-line, he traveled to Martin County to meet her in person. What he ended up with was a night filled with violence orchestrated by 15-year-old Niveah Thompson-Miller of Port St. Lucie.
Miller, who after meeting her victim, continued to claim that she was 18 and spent a little time with him before she took his wallet and car keys – without his knowledge. Not realizing Miller had already stolen his wallet, the victim began to receive Cash-App withdrawal notices on his cell phone.
But when the victim questioned Miller, 19-year old Tyrese Kerr of West Palm Beach, along with 19-year old Damali Gordon of Royal Palm Beach, showed up at the meeting location armed with a handgun – and both of their faces were covered in masks.
The victim was pistol-whipped and taken to various locations to withdraw more money. While being driven around town, Stuart Police conducted a traffic stop on the car after learning that a kidnapping was taking place. All three were taken into custody.
Following their arrests, Niveah Thompson-Miller, Damali Gordon and Tyrese Kerr were all charged with kidnapping, robbery with a firearm, and, grand theft of a motor-vehicle.
