Reward: FBI still searching for Florida man Jonathan Daniel Pollock charged in January 6 Capitol riot
The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Tampa Field Office and the Washington, D.C. Field Office announced a reward of up to $15,000 being offered in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jonathan Daniel Pollock, 23, of Lakeland, Florida.
Pollock is facing federal charges in connection with the violence at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021. He’s accused of assaulting multiple police officers with a deadly weapon.
Prosecutors have accused Pollock of punching two officers in the face, kneeing a police officer, dragging an officer down stairs, charging at law enforcement with a flag pole, grabbing an officer’s neck and pinning them to the ground and ramming a police shield into an officer’s neck. ~ CNN
Not too long after his involvement in the January 6 violence in the Capitol, Pollock returned to his Florida home and bragged about his time in DC. He then split the scene and has not been seen or heard from since.
“We’ve been trying to locate Mr. Pollock since last summer,” said FBI Tampa Acting Special Agent in Charge Sanjay Virmani. “The allegations against him aren’t going away and must be dealt with. The FBI is patient but determined to bring to justice those responsible for the violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.”
