Reward offered for arrest of serial bank robber dubbed the ‘Justice League Dropout’
Still sporting his gray Superman hat, the man that the FBI has dubbed the “Justice League Dropout” struck for the third time in two weeks. This time he robbed a bank in Stafford, Texas. The FBI Violent Crime Task Force is asking the public to submit tips leading to his identity and location.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of this brazen bank robber.
On August 26 at approximately 1:57 p.m., the “JLD” walked into the Walmart located at 11210 West Airport Boulevard in Stafford, Texas, and proceeded to the First Convenience Bank within the supermarket. He presented a demand note. In fear for her safety, the victim teller wisely complied. The suspect walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
This crime is the suspect’s third known bank robbery. The Justice League Dropout is also wanted in connection with a robbery that took place at the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank located at 10420 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas, on August 12. He also robbed the First Convenience Bank located at 9919 Westheimer Road in Houston on August 24.
