Reward offered for information on shooting death at VYPZ Lounge, Lauderdale Lakes
On July 6, Florida’s Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) announced that their homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Lauderdale Lakes on Tuesday morning. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Shortly after 2:19 a.m., on July 4, Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a shooting at the VYPZ Lounge located at 4260 North State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes. BSO deputies responded to the scene and located 29-year-old Travis Turner of Fort Lauderdale suffering from gunshot wounds.
The responding deputies provided lifesaving measures on Turner. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue also responded and pronounced him deceased on scene.
