On Sunday, February 5, at approximately 5:50 p.m. , patrol officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) were dispatched to a local hospital where a person was reporting a battery. The victim reported being battered at a nightclub located in the 3500 block of South Las Vegas Blvd. The investigation by LVMPD detectives determined the victim was battered by the suspect, later identified as NFL’s 26-year-old Alvin Kamara.
Kamara was located and taken into custody without incident on February 6. His arrest in Las Vegas went down shortly after he appeared in Sunday’s NFL Pro Bowl.
Kamara caught four passes for 23 yards for the NFC in a 41-35 loss to the AFC in the Pro Bowl on Sunday afternoon at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
