‘Supergirl’ Melissa Benoist is pregnant

“Supergirl” is having a baby! Well, more accurately, the actress that portrays Supergirl on TV’s The CW, is having the baby. “Supergirl’s” Melissa Benoist and her actor husband Chris Wood, who has appeared on “Supergirl” as superhero Mon-El, took to Instagram yesterday to announce the joyous event.

“A non-canine child is coming to our family very soon!!!” “@christophrwood has always been an old dad by nature but now he’s going to be a real one!”

Super hubby Chris Wood also made the announcement on his Instagram page with a pic that shows him to be about seven months pregnant with a caption that reads:

“The photo is a joke but the news is real…!!! 👶🏻🍼🤗”

The last time Melissa went to Instagram to share earth-shattering news was back in November 2019 when the super actress opened up about being a domestic violence survivor.
