On July 18, the Volusia Sheriff’s Office (VSO) with headquarters in DeLand, Florida, announced taking down a known disreputable party house and arresting all of those at the residence on drug possession and related charges.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the house located at 817 S. Flamingo Drive in Holly Hill, has long been the subject of multiple complaints regarding narcotics activity. It’s also been the site of several overdose calls, including one fatal OD.
Yesterday morning, members of the East Volusia Narcotics Task Force, Volusia Bureau of Investigation (VBI) and VSO SWAT executed a search warrant at the residence and arrested all 14 people inside. Small amounts of fentanyl and crack cocaine were found. Note that the actual homeowner was inside the residence at the time of the arrests and was also taken into custody and charged.
