Tampa women busted after taking their ‘traveling drug show’ to Florida’s east coast
Two Florida women described by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) as “traveling drug dealers who took their show on the road,” were arrested on Florida’s Treasure Coast and are now both facing lengthy prison sentences on multiple drug charges. On December 18, the Sheriff’s Office reported that the women from Tampa “took the wrong exit” when taking their dealings into Martin County.
MCSO’s Special Investigations Detectives arrested 25-year-old Juanita Rose Fluckes and 32-year-old Lauren Ashley Rosetti after they identified the pair as key suspects in the ongoing sale and distribution of cocaine and meth in Martin County.
Late Friday night the women were expecting to land a lucrative drug sale. But that sale turned out to be a bust, literally, as both women were arrested. ~ MCSO
Fluckes and Rosetti were found to be in possession of 8 ounces (224 grams) of methamphetamine and 1/2 ounce (14 grams) of cocaine. Back at their Stuart hotel room Special Investigations Detectives also found 16-grams of fentanyl and the couple’s own personal supply of Narcan.
Fluckes and Rosetti were both charged with:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine,
- Delivery of Methamphetamine,
- Possession of Cocaine,
- Delivery of Cocaine,
- Tampering with Evidence, and
- Resisting Arrest.
The Sheriff’s Office said that if convicted, the women could each be looking at 15 years behind bars.
