Rest in Peace Tanya.
“Tanya Roberts, best known for her roles as a Bond girl and on ‘That ‘70s Show,’ died Monday after a brief hospitalization. She was 65 years old. Her death follows a bizarre turn of events which included her boyfriend, Lance O’Brien, initially telling her publicist that she had died. “Tanya Roberts is not dead, but hospitalized in critical condition”
Just yesterday, the world was saddened to hear that beloved actress Tanya Roberts, 65, had died. Media outlets were quick to print her obituary and share her extensive film and TV credits that included “Charlie’s Angels”, “Beastmaster”, “Sheena”, James Bond’s “A View to a Kill”, and “That ‘70s Show.” Turns out, Roberts did not die. Sadly though, the accomplished actress is not well.

Below, see “That ‘70s Show” castmate Ashton Kutcher tell another castmate Topher Grace that Tanya was not dead.
On Monday, January 4, a spokesperson for Roberts, Mike Pingel, informed the media that the actress died after being admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve. Roberts’ significant other, Lance O’Brien, was also under the mistaken impression that his famed partner had died.
But in dramatic Hollywood fashion, while O’Brien was live on TV being interviewed by “Inside Edition,” he received a phone call from the hospital.
While O’Brien was being interviewed by the syndicated television show “Inside Edition,” the hospital called him, interrupting the interview to tell him she was still alive.
“Now you’re telling me that she’s alive?” O’Brien can be heard saying on the show. “Thank the Lord. Thank God.” ~ NBC News
Pingel has since updated his statement to say that as of yesterday, January 4, Roberts was still alive, although she is hospitalized and in critical condition.
MSN quoted the spokesperson as saying, “She was alive at 10 a.m. this morning. Currently, it’s not looking good,” Pingel said of Roberts’ health. “It’s very dire. Hold her in your prayers.”
