Tennessee man, 71, charged with raping 5-year-old girl
Jewell Daniel Frame, 71, of Suits Me Lane, Manchester, Tennessee, is scheduled to appear in court today to face charges of raping a child. The alleged rapes began in 2004 when the little girl was only five-years-old and lasted through 2011 when the victim had turned 12-years-old, according to a Coffee County Sheriff’s Department press release shared by The Manchester Times. The arrest warrant issued by Deputy Brandon Reed last week states that Frame had raped the child on multiple occasions.
Following his January 9 arrest, Frame was transported to Cook County Jail where he’s currently being held on a $500,000 bond. A spokesperson with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department says that the rapes were only recently reported. No further specifics regarding the case were shared in an effort to safeguard the anonymity of the victim, according to News Channel 5.
Frame was officially charged with Rape of a Child and will be facing that charge today at Coffee County General Sessions Court. WGNS asks that anyone with any information on this case to please contact Deputy Brandon Reed of the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department at 931-570-4191. The investigation is ongoing.
