Yesterday, Major League Baseball announced that the Texas Rangers will return to Arlington to host Games 3, 4, and 5 (if necessary) of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros at Globe Life Field. The Rangers currently lead the best-of-seven ALCS 2-0 with Game 3 scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, October 18 at 7:03 p.m.

Game 4 at Globe Life Field is scheduled for Thursday, October 19 at 7:03 p.m. followed by Game 5 (if necessary) at 4:07 p.m. Tickets to all ALCS games at Globe Life Field are sold out.

ALCS Game 3 – Wednesday, October 18

Parking Lots: Parking lots will open to fans at 3:30 p.m., 3.5 hours prior to first pitch.

Gates Open: The Globe Life Field gates will open at 4:30 p.m., 2.5 hours prior to first pitch.

Tickets & Parking: Game tickets and prepaid parking are sold out. Parking will still be available for purchase at lot entry until capacity is reached.

First Pitch: 7:03 p.m. CT – RHP Max Scherzer (13-6, 3.77 / – –) vs. RHP Cristian Javier (10-5, 4.56 / 1-0, 0.00)

Ceremonial First Pitch: Rangers Hall of Famer Ian Kinsler will toss the ceremonial first pitch to former Rangers pitcher Derek Holland, winner of the 2010 ALCS Game 4 and 2011 World Series Game 4.

Rally Towels: The first 30,000 fans in attendance will receive a Rangers Rally Towel courtesy of On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina.

National Anthem: The Strikeout Kings, the DFW-based quartet will sing the National Anthem. As part of the Anthem, a large American flag and Texas flag presented by the Dyess Air Force Base Honor Guard will be unfurled on the field.

Around the Ballpark: A new food item, the “Big Tex Torta” will make its debut for the ALCS, joining other new Postseason items revealed during the ALDS. The Big Tex Torta is a red and blue soft Torta bun, prepared by Arlington’s Marquez Bakery, and topped with in-house smoked Nolan Ryan Brisket, a split Texas Chili All Beef Hot Dog, egg, sliced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, queso fresca cheese, salsa roja and mayo (Sections 105, 132, 208).

Occupying the Arlington Eats stand near Section 101 will be Prince Lebanese Grill. The recently opened Easy Out retail store near Section 116, which features Amazon’s RFID technology, is stocked with the latest ALCS merchandise. Proceeds from the 50/50 Texas 2 Split Raffle, presented by Kroger will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.

Pregame Tours: Pregame Tours of Globe Life Field, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, prior to Game 3 are available for purchase. The ALCS Pregame Tour begins 1.5 hours prior to gates opening and gives fans the opportunity to watch Rangers batting practice and get a behind the scenes look into game preparation. Pregame Tours can be purchased at GlobeLifeField.com/tours. A game ticket is required and sold separately for all Pregame Tour participants.
