Three Florida men, one of them a firefighter, arrested trying to entice the same young child online
Yesterday, police in Stuart, Florida, shared the story that dates back to September 11, 2024, when an alert and very concerned mother reported to Stuart Police possible illegal activity she discovered on her child’s cell phone. Stuart Police Detectives conducted an investigation into allegations of inappropriate communication between the juvenile victim and several adult males. Detectives said they meticulously reviewed cell phone data including photos, videos, and social media accounts.
The suspects provided or offered to provide the juvenile tobacco, alcohol, and other gifts in an apparent attempt to establish a relationship. Detectives determined that each suspect was aware of the age of the victim. The suspects either met with the victim or arranged to meet with the victim to commit these crimes. As a result of the investigation, the three men indicated below were identified and arrested
Robert Green, of Fort Pierce, was charged with providing tobacco to a minor. Detectives learned that Green was communicating with the victim by phone and snapchat. He met with the victim on more than one occasion and provided a vape instrument and other items to the victim in Stuart. Greene was arrested in Stuart and later was adjudicated guilty.

Phoenix Monserrate, of Palm Beach Gardens, had previously traveled to Stuart to meet with the victim. Monserrate was charged with five counts of promoting sexual performance by a child and ten counts of possession of child pornography. Detectives located images of suspect child pornography on Monserratte’s phone. Monserrate is currently being held at the Martin County Jail with a bond set at $1,000,000.

Austin Lanyon, of Tampa, was charged with transmission of harmful material to a minor, use of a computer to solicit or lure a child, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. Detectives learned that Lanyon was employed as a City of Tampa firefighter. Lanyon is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail with a bond set at $220,000.
