(2/2/2022 Update) Murder-Suicide: 52-year-old man kills 2 adults, 2 dogs, then himself in Port St. Lucie home. Detectives call tragedy an ‘isolated incident’ and ‘not a random act of violence’ ~ WPTV
(Original report from February 21) Late last night, Florida’s Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) reported on the deaths of three human beings and two dogs found deceased inside their home located in the 1900 block of Southwest Cameo Boulevard. Police say that they were called to that location at 6:28 p.m. yesterday regarding a death investigation.
The preliminary police investigation revealed that a roommate returned to that residence and discovered the dead bodies inside the house. The roommate told police he quickly left the house and called 911. When PSLPD Officers arrived on the scene, they reported finding the three individuals and two dogs – all dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside the house.
Overnight, the PSLPD Criminal Investigation Division Detectives were on the scene handling the death investigation. The house has since been secured.
Port St. Lucie police Sgt. John Dellacroce said there is no threat to the community. He went on to say that police are not looking for any suspects and no suspects are in custody, according to WPTV. Police have since left the scene.
No additional information is currently available.
