TV star Lindsey Pearlman, missing since February 13, found dead in the Hollywood Hills
(Updated Feb. 23, 2022) An autopsy has been conducted on the body of actress Lindsey Pearlman, and her cause of death has been listed as “deferred, pending additional investigation” according to the coroner, authorities said today.
The body of the 43-year-old actress, whose credits include roles on General Hospital, Empire, and Chicago Justice, was found by Los Angeles police on Friday in a vehicle near Runyon Canyon Park. ~ MSN
(Original article from Feb.19, 2022) Actress Lindsey Erin Pearlman, 43, was last seen on February 13 at 12:00 p.m., in the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, she failed to return home and had not been seen or heard from since – until yesterday – when the actress perhaps best known for her roles in TV’s “Chicago Justice” and “General Hospital” was found dead in the Hollywood Hills.
Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner. ~ LAPD, February 18
When she failed to arrive home, her family and friends and the LAPD put out notices to the public requesting the assistance in finding her. Her husband reported her “last seen” date as February 15, contradicting the date released by the LAPD.
Friends and family fear for her safety. She is described as a 43-year old female, white, brown hair, brown eyes, standing at 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 140 pounds. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time she went missing.
After police reported that her body had been found, Pearlman’s husband, Vance Smith, posted on Instagram: “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken.”
According to Pearlman’s biography posted on her personal website, she had roles on “General Hospital,” “American Housewife,” the TV version of “The Purge,” and “Chicago Justice.” She also had extensive experience in Chicago-area theater. ~ ABC 7
