On June 19, the Prince George’s County Police Department headquartered in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, announced that the agency’s Homicide Unit identified and charged two men in connection with a murder that went down on Friday.  Police identified the two suspects as 34-year-old Otoniel Morales and 19-year-old Edwin Roque Alarcon, both of Seat Pleasant.

The victim, in this case, had been identified as 29-year-old Mynor Galvez Juarez of Hyattsville.

On June 16 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Addison Road South to check on the welfare of an unresponsive man on the side of the roadway. Once on the scene, officers located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

During the investigation, detectives developed Morales and Roque Alarcon as suspects and determined the murder occurred in the 6600 block of Greig Street in Seat Pleasant. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim and Morales were involved in a dispute prior to the murder.
