On Saturday, October 13, 2018, 16-year old Karlie Lain Gusé was last seen in the early morning hours in the White Mountain Estates located in Chalfant, California.  The last time anyone saw her, she was walking toward Highway 6.  Two years later, family, friends, police and the FBI are still trying to find her and bring her home safely.  Following her disappearance, the “Bring Karlie Home” website posted:

Karlie may be disoriented and does not have any personal belongings or her cell phone with her. If you have seen Karlie or have any information regarding her whereabouts, please call the Mono County Sheriff’s Office at 760-932-7549, option 7.

Two weeks after Karlie went missing, the Mono County Sheriff’s Office reported that their investigation and searches of the surrounding high desert region turned up no information regarding her whereabouts.  At the time, police described Karlie as being a “white female, 16 years old, 5’ 07”, 110 pounds, dark blond hair and blue eyes.”

Authorities urged the public to please call the Mono County Sheriff’s Office at 760-932-7549, option 7, or the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children at 800-843-5678 (800-THE-LOST) if anyone has any information regarding this missing child – a missing child who is now 18 years old.
