Like many counties across America, Indian River County in South East Florida has been plagued with heroin dealers, heroin users, and an ever-rising number of opioid related overdoses and fatalities.  This scourge is especially true in certain statutorily protected areas like schools, churches, parks, and community centers.

During the month of August, detectives with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Investigations Unit conducted a drug investigation into one individual suspected of dealing opioids in these sacred locations.

Milton Jaddo was reported to be selling opioid pills throughout Indian River County. These pills are highly addictive and can easily lead to dependency and further opioid use such as Heroin and Fentanyl.

An arrest warrant for the 44-year-old Jaddo was secured after he sold Oxycodone within 1000 feet of a local day care center located within the city limits of Vero Beach.

On September 1, Jaddo was taken into custody and charged with the sale of Oxycodone within 1000 feet of a child care facility.  He was also charged with possession of Oxycodone.

Business must have been pretty good for Jaddo as he was busted with close to $10,000 in U.S. currency directly related to the sale of illegal drugs that were seized upon his arrest.

Jaddo was also in possession of fraudulent FBI credentials and a detachable, double bladed Ninja-style staff at the time of his arrest.  This particular weapon begins as a one-piece steel short staff. With a twist of the ring switch, the staff comes apart to reveal two short swords.

The short swords can be screwed together to create a vicious double-bladed staff.
