Viral images: Why was Elon Musk kissing AI robots on Twitter – or was he?
Elon Musk was once heralded as the tech genius of our time. He did make some 21st century strides in electric car and self-driving car technologies, and space exploration; but it was his strides into social media, purchasing Twitter, and sometimes his odd behavior that has resulted in some of his golden boy glow being tarnished. And now, it’s easy for the public to believe the worst of him.
Speaking of his technological achievements, in the fall of 2022, the tech billionaire wowed the public when he unveiled “Optimus,” a humanoid robot prototype that’s being developed and manufactured at Musk’s Tesla Electric Car company.
Optimus appeared on stage at a Silicon Valley event, where it waved to the audience and raised its knees. The CEO said the robot was work-in-progress but could be on sale to the public in a few years’ time. But most recently, Musk has been in the news again in robot-related headlines thanks to viral photos of him being depicted kissing a variety of life-looking humanoid robots imbued with Artificial Intelligence. The images came to the world compliments of Daniel Marven’s Twitter post, where the author writes:
Elon Musk announces the future wife who is she?
It is the first robot that has been manufactured specifically designed with artificial intelligence with the personality and the characteristics of the female that he dreams of…which is not found in any normal person, because of course, there is no normal person that has all the required specifications.
Catnilla works with solar energy without charging, it is equipped with sensory means that make her feel sad and happy, and she has a balanced and interactive mindset …so she can share it if she is in a crisis or the feelings that she is experiencing or needs when she is exposed to any psychological stress. 🙂
It’s a sign of our times – and Musk’s slightly tarnished reputation – that the public jumped to the conclusion that Musk, who had recently publicized his Optimus robot venture, simply chose to believe that the Twitter owner / Tesla robot-creating CEO was actually lip locking with AI robots he planned to make available on the open market. But even Marven ends his post with:
The post is to clarify the dangers of AI (artificial intelligence) in the coming period, especially after Tesla Company released the first integrated robot “Optimus”
“Guys this guy is not a human 🤞🏽🙆🏽♂️” this is out of the world 🤞🏽
So, truth be told, all those images of Musk kissing the fembots were created via AI software, raising the age-old warning once again about the dangers of computers – especially computers with artificial intelligence – being able to wreak havoc on society.
Here are those AI-generated images of Musk and those robots that have gone viral.
