About five days ago, Florida’s Brevard County Sheriff’s Office issued a public notice seeking assistance in locating a wanted fugitive, Tyisha Osby.  The Sheriff’s Office was vehement in their wanting to serve a warrant on Osby who had an outstanding warrant on charges of Child Neglect and Animal Cruelty.

In fact, even more enjoyable would be seeing her spend New Year’s Eve in “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” so she can start the new year off just as she deserves…being locked up!!  Now if you know where she is hiding you can let us know by going to Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS, sending us an email at wheeloffugitive@bcso.us, or just send us a message right here and our Agents will do the rest!!  Oh and if you are the person helping her hide from us, you can go ahead and pack your toothbrush cause you’ll be taking the ride with her!!”  ~ Sheriff Wayne Ivey, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office

It was a joyous evening for the Sheriff yesterday when he announced, “that It’s a new year and that means a new home for our friend Tyisha Osby!! We love starting off the year with a heartwarming story of finding bad people and putting them right where they belong…behind bars!!”

According to Ivey, he had an assist from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office in Vero Beach.  Through collaborative investigative efforts, law enforcement officials tracked Osby down who was hiding out at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Vero.  Sheriff Ivey went on remind citizens that his agency was looking for Osby on her charges of Aggravated Animal Cruelty, Confinement of animals without sufficient food/water/exercise, “and last but certainly not least, child neglect, as Osby used her children to break up a dog fight in her yard because she was afraid of them!!”

According to WESH, Osby had been found guilty of several animal cruelty charges in the past six months. These cases were all brought by local animal control and resulted in fines.  Following her arrest yesterday, Osby is currently “at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge when she arrives for her reservation on a $17,000 bond for her charges!!”
