Wife arrested after pointing loaded gun at head of cheating husband, Baltimore Ravens’ Earl Thomas
It came to light late last night and into today’s early morning hours following multiple media reports, that back on April 13 around 3:40 a.m., the Austin Police Department responded to a call involving Baltimore Ravens’ safety Earl Thomas III and a violent domestic dispute. That dispute involved “… Thomas, his brother, his wife, two other women and a loaded gun.”
As a result of that altercation where Thomas’ wife pointed a loaded gun at his head during an argument that could have turned deadly, 30-year-old Nina Thomas was arrested and charged with first-degree felony burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest warrant from the Travis County magistrate court, Nina Thomas told police that she confronted her husband at a rental home because she believed he was cheating on her.

Police documents further revealed that officers were able to obtain a cell phone video recorded during the incident that depicts, “… Nina Thomas placing Earl’s 9 mm Beretta less than a foot away from her husband’s head, with the safety disengaged and her finger on the trigger.” The video was recorded by one of the women that accompanied Nina Thomas to that residence.
By the time police arrived at the Austin, Texas, residence, Earl Thomas had managed to safely wrestle the gun away from his wife; but officers found Nina Thomas chasing her husband around the house with a knife. Police subdued and arrested the wife.
Reportedly, Earl and Nina Thomas are currently on speaking terms. Nina has a court date scheduled for June 8.
Earl and Nina Thomas have been married since 2016 and have three children together. He’s coming off a Pro Bowl season in his first year with the Ravens, with whom he signed a four-year, $55 million contract with $32 million guaranteed last offseason after nine seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. ~ Yahoo!
