Rock.\u00a0 This fall, that DC icon returns, and so do the dead in\u00a0<em>DC Horror Presents: Sgt. Rock vs. The Army of the Dead.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may not be aware that DC Comics has a venue dedicated to Horror; &nbsp;but this fall, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.multiversitycomics.com\/news\/sgt-rock-vs-the-army-of-the-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Multiversity Comics<\/a>, DC\u2019s Horror section will be premiering a six-issue series written by iconic horror comedy actor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0132257\/bio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bruce Campbell<\/a>, with art by Eduardo Risso: \u201cDC Horror Presents: Sgt. Rock vs. the Army of the Dead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Set in 1944 Berlin, the story will see the Third Reich transform their dead troops into a zombie horde, creating the strangest, most horrifying enemy Sgt. Evil Dead<\/a><\/em>), this six-issue miniseries should prove to be an action-packed, terrifying adventure. Eisner and Harvey Award-Winning Artist Eduardo Risso (<em>100 Bullets<\/em>) brings the battlefield to gruesome life as the Easy Company tears across Europe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you\u2019re not afraid of gore, Issue #1, on sale September 27, will have a Duffel Bag Gore variant cover drawn by Frank Quitely (<em>The Authority<\/em>) too gruesome to even show you.
