Season three will be based in Madrid with extensive location shooting planned in the Galicia, Arag\u00f3n, Catalonia and Valencia regions, each providing a new and unique backdrop for the post-apocalyptic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In season 1, we see Daryl after he washes ashore in France which we learn is the origin of the zombie virus and watch as he struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival and Steve Squillante with Silvia Ar\u00e1ez and Jes\u00fas de la Vega joining as executive producers this season.
