Zachery Ty Bryan in trouble again, arrested in La Quinta on his fifth DUI
Actor Zachery Tyler Bryan, best known for portraying eldest son Brad Taylor in Tim Allen’s hit sitcom “Home Improvement” is making the headlines again, and not in a good way. The 42-year-old, who has been compiling an unfortunate history of run-ins with the law since his child star days was reportedly arrested following a car crash and alleged DUI in La Quinta, California, this past weekend.
According to arrest records from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office obtained by ET Online, Bryan was arrested and booked in the early morning hours on Saturday, February 17, and charged with a felony DUI.
According to the outlet, officials said that officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, allegedly driven by Bryan, just after 2 a.m. after seeing the car, which they believed to have been involved in an earlier collision. ~ ET Online
Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez was quoted by Fox News Digital as saying, “Deputies assigned to the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station conducted a traffic stop in the area of Washington Street and Calle Tampico in La Quinta on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a recent traffic collision. “When deputies contacted the driver, they observed indications of impairment, leading to the driver’s arrest for driving under the influence with priors.”
“The driver, later identified as 42-year-old Zachery Bryan, was booked into a Riverside County jail.”
In this latest incident, Bryan has been charged with felony “driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” and a misdemeanor charge of “contempt of court.” He has a court date of April 23 scheduled to face these latest charges.
Prior to this latest charge, the former child star had also been charged with DUIs in 2004, 2007, 2017 and 2020. It was just last year in 2023 that he was arrested on domestic violence charges.
