LANDOVER, Md. — More than two years after two fatal shootings shook the Landover community, Prince George’s County police have identified four suspects in the separate killings of two local men. Two of the suspects are charged in both cases, although investigators say there is currently no evidence linking the murders.

The cases involve 18-year-old Kesean Pollard and 29-year-old Tresean Sparrow Bey, who were killed in separate shootings in October 2024.

Two Fatal Shootings Nine Days Apart:  Pollard, 18, of Landover, was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the 7100 block of Old Landover Road on October 22, 2024. He died at the scene.

Nine days later, on October 31, Sparrow Bey, 29, also of Landover, was shot and killed in the 900 block of Atlee Drive.

Four Suspects Named in Pollard’s Killing:  On September 30, 2026, detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit obtained arrest warrants for four suspects in Pollard’s murder.

Those charged are:

  • Donzell Gibson, 22, of Waldorf;
  • Nathaniel Washington, 22, of Washington, D.C.;
  • Devin Spivey, 22, of Laurel; and
  • Shamar Evans, 19, of Washington, D.C.

Investigators say Pollard’s killing stemmed from an ongoing dispute.

Two Suspects Also Charged in Sparrow Bey’s Murder: The investigation into Sparrow Bey’s death led to charges in July 2025 against Spivey and Evans. The motive for that shooting remains under investigation.

Although the same two men face charges in both cases, police emphasize that there is currently no indication the murders are connected. Investigators have also found no known connection between the two victims.

Suspects in Custody as Investigations Continue:  According to police, Spivey and Evans are being held by the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections. Gibson is in custody in Charles County on unrelated charges, while Washington is being held in Cumberland, Maryland, on unrelated charges.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about either case to contact the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.

The investigations highlight how homicide cases can continue to develop long after the initial crime, as detectives work to identify suspects and pursue charges.
