One dead, two more injured in Essex Saturday shooting: Reward offered

Yesterday, police in Baltimore County announced that their detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that went down on Saturday, November 9. At approximately 3:03 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Bayner Road in Essex, Maryland, 21221, after receiving reports of a shooting at that location.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male outside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers and medics attempted to provide medical aid; tragically though, the male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Also in connection with the shooting, two other gunshot wound victims were treated at area hospitals for wounds that police say were “non-life-threatening injuries.” 

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this shooting to please contact 911 or 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous. 

Reward Offered: Metro Crime Stoppers, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department, offers cash rewards for information in connection with felony offenses. The reward is awarded if your tip leads to the arrest and charges of a suspect for a felony crime.
