Baltimore’s Most Wanted: Police seek ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect in fatal York Road shooting

BALTIMORE — Baltimore police are asking the public for help locating a 24-year-old man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a 38-year-old woman and wounded another person.
Police identified the suspect as Dashawn Taylor, who is wanted in connection with the June 23, 2026, fatal shooting of Asia Williams in the 5200 block of York Road. According to the Baltimore Police Department, Williams was killed in the shooting. A 27-year-old man was also wounded.
Taylor is now the subject of a public search as homicide investigators work to locate him. Police are warning members of the public not to approach or attempt to apprehend him, saying he should be considered armed and dangerous.
- Anyone who has seen Taylor or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Baltimore homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
- Anonymous tips may also be provided to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward rather than attempting to confront Taylor themselves.
