Florida Man arrested after allegedly impregnating 15-year-old girl he met on TikTok

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old Florida man has been arrested after investigators say he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl he met through TikTok, resulting in her pregnancy. Edgar Francisco Juan was arrested November 5 in Palm Beach County and charged with sexual battery involving a victim between the ages of 12 and 17 and impregnating a child under 16, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an arrest affidavit cited by ABC News and Hoodline, the girl met Juan through TikTok in March 2026. The two later arranged to meet in the parking lot of her apartment complex.

The teenager told detectives that Juan sexually assaulted her inside his vehicle despite her telling him to stop. She subsequently discovered she was pregnant, investigators said.

Detectives reportedly uncovered messages in which Juan allegedly acknowledged the child and requested photographs. Those communications became part of the evidence investigators presented during questioning.

On November 5, deputies interviewed Juan at the Palm Beach County probation office. He confirmed his identity and telephone number, but when investigators showed him messages connected to the case, he reportedly said he did not know what they were talking about before requesting an attorney.

Under Florida law, an adult aged 21 or older who impregnates a child under 16 can face a third-degree felony charge. The law also specifies that the child’s consent is not a defense.

Juan now faces two criminal charges. Authorities have not publicly disclosed whether he has entered a plea or provided additional details about the case’s next court proceedings.
